Floor 6. Class specialization. Guilds are introduced. Parties are restricted to 30 members. This is where the dungeon stops being a survival game and starts being a political war. Everyone picks a specialization. Some choices are better than others. Some choices are louder than others.

Overview

Floor 6 introduces guild mechanics and restricts parties to 30 members (larger parties are automatically broken up). This fundamentally changes the social dynamics of the crawl -- alliances, territory, and politics become as important as combat.

Class specialization happens here. Every crawler picks a second-tier class that defines their role going forward. The Masquerade event on this floor is one of the most discussed sequences in the entire series.
