Who is Prepotente?
Prepotente is a goat-based crawler who first appears in Book 2. He is loud, abrasive, and insistent on being taken seriously, which the dungeon and his fellow crawlers make consistently difficult. He has a very loud scream. This is relevant more often than you'd expect.

In Dungeon Crawler Carl, Prepotente is first glimpsed in Book 2, Carl's Doomsday Scenario: a Floor 3 recap shows an armored goat walking on two legs beside Miriam Dom, swinging a double-headed axe and screaming for no reason. He makes the leaderboard in third place at the end of that book.
Readers who want the earliest trace: Mordecai mentions a woman who brought about fifteen goats into the dungeon on Floor 2 in Book 1. Carl meets Prepotente face to face at the very end of Book 3, on Floor 4.
What kind of goat is Prepotente in Dungeon Crawler Carl?
In Dungeon Crawler Carl, Prepotente is a brown-and-white Boer goat, one of the roughly fifteen goats that Miriam Dom, an Italian goatherd, brought into the dungeon. By Floor 3 an Enhanced Pet Biscuit has turned him into a Caprid, a sapient goat who walks on two legs, the same kind of biscuit that made Princess Donut sapient.
On the end-of-Floor 3 leaderboard (Book 2) he is listed as a level 27 Caprid Forsaken Aerialist.
Why is Prepotente called Pony?
In Dungeon Crawler Carl, Pony is Miriam Dom's pet name for Prepotente, and by Book 5 it is plain the name belongs to her alone. So yes, Pony is Prepotente, but the name is not for everyone to use.
Miriam and her goat are first seen together in Book 2, and his devotion to her is one of the things that makes the character.
