Universal International Studios and Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door Productions acquired the rights in August 2024 — the studio side now operates as Universal Global Television. Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk is Carl's ex-girlfriend's cat, a Persian show cat who becomes a sapient, spell-casting crawler after eating an Enhanced Pet Biscuit on Floor 1. Odette is a former crawler who became the galaxy's most-watched talk show host (Dungeon Crawler After Hours with Odette). She has a complicated history with Mordecai and unclear motivations.
