The finder weighs how the fan enjoys the series, what they already own, what kind of gift you want it to be, and how big. Each result is one item from the site's gift guide, linked to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate, this site earns from qualifying purchases.
an Audible gift membership
A gift that works whether they have heard one book or all of them. You pick the months; they pick the listening.
The Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobooks are narrated by Jeff Hays for Soundbooth Theater, and we think that is the definitive way to experience the series. A gift membership lets them relisten, catch up, or start the next series, without you needing to know what they already own.

Books 1-5 in hardcover
For the fan who listens or reads digitally and has nothing on the shelf yet.
The first five books in hardcover, the Ace editions, bought one at a time. There is no publisher box set, and Amazon's third-party five-book set cost more than the five books separately when we compared them. Either way it turns a listener into a collector, and the publisher's hardcovers carry a bonus story the audiobooks do not.

the Book 1 Deluxe Collector's Edition
The showpiece, for the fan who already owns everything else.
A collector's edition of Book 1 with cover art by Victo Ngai, an illustrated case with a solvable maze, decorated endpapers, stencilled page edges, a printed ribbon marker and a Q&A with Matt Dinniman. It is a different edition from the regular hardcovers, made to be displayed.

the official tabletop game
For the game-night fan: the Dungeon Crawler Carl RPG or the Unstoppable card game.
Renegade Game Studios makes the official Dungeon Crawler Carl tabletop roleplaying game and Unstoppable, a deck-builder you can play solo or co-op. The RPG suits a group that already plays; Unstoppable suits shorter nights and smaller tables.

their next favourite series
For the fan who has finished everything and is waiting on Book 9.
Matt Dinniman has other books, and the gift guide's pick for finished fans is Operation Bounce House, his novel in hardcover. If they have read that too, the read-alikes page sorts series by what they loved about Dungeon Crawler Carl.
