Each decision is scored by what keeps crawlers alive in the books' first three volumes: respecting the floor timer, resting in safe rooms, learning from the tutorial guilds, building Constitution early, bonding a pet, keeping sponsors interested without becoming a target, and choosing a race and class that fit how you already fight. Your score sets the floor you reach; the tally shows how you rank against everyone who took it.

Died on floor 1

The tutorial got you. The System AI is not even surprised.

Floor 1 is the tutorial: a countdown timer, goblins, and a collapse that kills anyone still inside when it hits zero. Crawlers who die early do it by waiting, by exploring with no eye on the clock, or by trusting the wrong thing. You did at least one of those, with confidence.

Made it to floor 2

You found the stairs. Then the dungeon started trying.

You beat the tutorial. Floor 2 is where the shows begin, where pets join the party, and where the dungeon stops being a lesson and starts being a broadcast. You are surviving on instinct, and instinct runs out.

You are the crawler the audience roots for and then forgets. Get better at the boring parts: rest, stairs, timer.

Reached floor 3

You picked a race and a class. Respectable. The volcano is less impressed.

Floor 3 is the Over City, built inside a dormant volcano, where crawlers choose a race and a class from menus made for them, and the nights are dangerous. Reaching it means you rest, plan and keep moving. Choosing well there decides the rest.

Survived the iron tangle

Floor 4. The world's subway systems tied in a knot, and you got through it.

Floor 4 is the Iron Tangle: every subway system on Earth knotted together, thousands of stairwells, steam trains switching lines, and a leaderboard that puts a bounty on the top crawlers. Getting here takes discipline and a little luck. You have both.

You think like a real crawler. You would be one of the names other crawlers know.

Made the top-ten leaderboard

Top ten. A bounty on your head, sponsors in your inbox, and the System AI furious that you keep winning.

You rest, you plan, you read the manual, you bond the weird pet and you never forget the timer. The Floor 4 leaderboard makes the top ten famous and hunted at the same time. You would be on it.

The dungeon has something to teach even you. Most of it is in the books.

Would you survive the dungeon? What the books say

How does the dungeon work in Dungeon Crawler Carl?

The World Dungeon is a series of floors under the ruins of Earth, broadcast to an alien audience. Each floor runs on a countdown timer: crawlers have to find a stairwell down before it hits zero, and anyone left on the floor when it collapses dies. The floor-by-floor guide covers every floor, spoiler-scoped.

What keeps crawlers alive on the first floors?

Safe rooms to rest in, tutorial guilds where former crawlers teach the rules, stats that start around 3 to 5 for an average human, and loot boxes from the System AI. Floor 1, the tutorial walks through all of it.
